He’s Here! – Luke 2:10-11

Jesus is Born! Nothing will ever be the same again. This final photo of the year (and the Christmas season) displays the last remnants of a spectacular sunset when the “twilight” is really taking over and darkness has “fallen.”

I am afraid of the dark, so I don’t suppose I could have ever been a shepherdess watching flocks at night. How awesome it must have been to be approached by “the angel of the Lord” and then serenaded by a “multitude of the heavenly host praising God …” This passage indicates that the shepherds talked among themselves after the heavenly host departed. And they didn’t say, “Oh, go back to sleep, we’ll digest it all tomorrow.” They went “now” with “haste” to Bethlehem. Can we be that excited about Jesus? Let’s not talk about it, let’s just DO it! If you aren’t already, get busy for the Lord today!

“O come, all ye faithful, joyful and triumphant …”
